Thomas College Athletics Celebrates Fall 2019 Academic Challenge
January 30, 2020WATERVILLE, Maine – Each fall, the Thomas College President’s Council challenges varsity athletic teams at Thomas to participate in the Academic Challenge. President’s Council hosts a dinner for those teams whose term GPA is above 3.0 for the fall. The event serves as a recognition for those students who represent the College and its mission so well, and who embody the ideals of the NCAA Division III student-athlete. -
Fifteen Terriers Named to North Atlantic Conference Fall 2019 All-Academic Team

XC: Terriers Finish Season at NCAA Division III New England Regional
November 16, 2019BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Thomas College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the NCAA Division III New England Regionals on Saturday at Bowdoin College. The men finished 37th of 54 teams, ranking them second among North Atlantic Conference teams in the race. -
XC: Ottman, Hooper and Kimball Earn NAC Awards
November 06, 2019WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced its end of season awards for men’s and women’s cross country and three Thomas student-athletes have been recognized. Jarrod Ottman (Merrimack, N.H.) was named to the All-Conference First Team, Jarrod Hooper (Lyman, Maine) was named to the All-Conference Second Team and Sportsmanship Team and Audrey Kimball (St. Albans, Maine) was named to the Sportsmanship Team. -
XC: Thomas Men Claim Best NAC Finish in Program History with Third-Place Showing

October 31, 2019WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has released its pre-championship poll for men's and women's cross country. In a vote conducted by the league's coaches, the Thomas College men were picked to finish third, while the women were tabbed to finish ninth. -
XC: Ottman Leads Men to Thomas Invitational Win
October 25, 2019WATERVILLE, Maine – The Thomas College cross country team hosted the Thomas Invitational on the Sukeforth Family Trail System on Friday afternoon. Jarrod Ottman (Merrimack, N.H.) won the race to lead the men to a first-place team finish over Husson. -
XC: Ottman Wins Second Race of the Year at St. Joe's
October 12, 2019WATERVILLE, Maine – Jarrod Ottman (Merrimack, N.H.) won his second race of the year, leading the Thomas College men’s cross country team to a third-place finish at the Runnin’ Monks Invitational at St. Joe’s on Saturday. The Terriers also had two runners compete on the women’s side. -

The men finished sixth overall and first among North Atlantic Conference (NAC) teams in the 13-team field, while the women did not register a team score. -
XC: Terrier Men Place Five in Top Six to Win UMA Invite
September 28, 2019AUGUSTA, Maine – The Thomas College men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the UMaine-Augusta Invitational on Saturday. The men’s team claimed five of the top six positions to earn the first-place team finish, while there was no team scoring for the women. -
