Waterville, Maine – Two members of the Thomas College Men's Lacrosse team earned North Atlantic Conference weekly honors for their performance on the field this past week. Sophomore goal keeper Jesse Morkeski has been named NAC Player of the Week, and freshman Jeffrey Morse has been named NAC Rookie of the Week.
Morkeski made 26 saves in the Terriers non-conference 10-6 loss to Regis on Thursday. Morkeski had a .722 save percentage against the Pride. Morkeski saved 95 percent of the shots he saw in the NAC semi-final game against Farmington on Saturday. Morkeski made 19 saves and gave up one goal in his 55 minutes of play in the Terriers 14-3 victory. Morkeski currently leads the NAC with 247 saves and is third with a save percent of .584.
Morse scored one goal and dished out three assists in the Terriers 10-6 loss to Regis on Thursday. Morse finished the week with a four goal performance in the NAC Semi-Final win against Farmington on Saturday.
The Terriers will travel to take on Castleton State tomorrow in the NAC Men's Lacrosse Semi-Finals, face off will take place at 3:00 p.m.
