Men's Lacrosse Set Course for 2011

Waterville, Maine -- The Thomas College Men's Lacrosse team is pleased to announce their 2011 schedule. The Terriers will kick off the 2011 campaign with a match up with former North Atlantic Conference foe St. Joseph's (Maine), on March 9th at Deering Memorial Stadium in Portland, Maine.

On March 12th the Terriers will take on Southern New Hampshire (Division II) and will follow that contest with a match up with McDaniel at on March 15th at Babson College. The Terriers will then make a swing down to New York where they will take on Cazenovia at Union College, and then down to the Bronx to take on Mt. St. Vincent.

The Terriers fist home action will be against Emmanuel College; a club team that will be going varsity in 2012.

On April 2nd the Terriers will kick of their NAC schedule when they face off against the Mariners of Maine Maritime.  The Terriers will host Lyndon State and Johnson State on the 9th and 10thof April before traveling to Regis (Mass.) on the 13th for their last out of conference game of the season.

The Terriers will wrap up their NAC schedule with games against Castleton, Green Mountain, UMaine at Farmington, and Husson.

Coach Kyle Fleischmann has named senior defensman Kevin Averill  and sophomore goal keeper Jesse Morkeski as the Team Captians for the 2011 season.
