Every month, the Thomas College Athletics Department will select one male and one female student-athlete that have excelled on the playing surface.
For the month of September, men’s soccer player, Jack Gallagher, has been named Male Terrier Athlete of the Month.
Gallagher played in all nine games for the Terriers over the month, starting in eight of them on defense. The sophomore tallied three goals on four shots while adding an assist for seven points on the season. He currently sits tied for second on the team in goals and 11th in the North Atlantic Conference. As a team defensively, Thomas ranks second in the NAC in goals against at 1.19 and tied for first with four shutouts.
“Jack has tremendous work ethic and provides positive leadership on the field,” said Head Coach Chris Parsons. “He has taken on new responsibilities as a defender this year and has been the anchor for our back line this season.”
